About Us

PPCasinos is an independent PayPal casino review site for players in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We focus on one thing: helping you find online casinos where PayPal actually works the way it should — fast deposits, fee-free withdrawals, and bonus terms that don’t quietly exclude PayPal users.

We started PPCasinos because the existing comparison sites kept recommending casinos we’d had bad experiences with. So we built our own — one where every casino on the list has been opened, funded, and tested by a real person on the team. If a casino isn’t here, it usually means we tried it and it didn’t meet our standard.

This page tells you who runs the site, how we test, how we make money, and how to reach us when something is wrong.

Our team

The PPCasinos editorial team is small and hands-on. Every reviewer on the site has personally deposited and withdrawn via PayPal at the casinos we cover. Bios are deliberately short — we’d rather show our work in the reviews than write paragraphs about ourselves.

Eleonor Lau — Global Reviewer of Record

Eleonor Lau Eleonor is a CAMS-certified (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) casino compliance analyst and the reviewer of record on every casino, hub, and guide page published on PPCasinos. She verifies licence status against regulator registers (UKGC, GGL, NJ DGE, PGCB, MGCB and others), runs the PayPal deposit and withdrawal flow, times the cashout, and signs off the final rating before any page goes live. 12+ years working across online gambling compliance and payments. Covers: site-wide sign-off, licence verification, PayPal flow testing, responsible-gambling auditing, US-state regulatory analysis.

Our wider team supports Eleonor with market-specific testing across the United Kingdom (UKGC operators, GamStop checks), Germany (GGL operators, LUGAS limits and OASIS), and the United States (state-regulated operators in NJ, PA, MI, WV, CT, DE, RI). Individual byline attribution appears on each reviewed page. For the full process, see our review methodology and editorial policy.

How we test casinos

Every casino we cover is scored against a 10-criteria, 100-point system. We open an account, deposit via PayPal, play, request a withdrawal, time how long it takes, and then write the review. No casino goes on the site without that flow being completed by a named reviewer.

The full breakdown — including the weight of each criterion and what counts as a passing score — is on our review methodology page.

Our editorial standards

We publish independent reviews. Affiliate income does not buy a spot on our recommended lists, and a casino can lose its rating between scheduled re-tests if something material changes. The full rules — how we use sources, how often we refresh, how we handle corrections, and how we use AI tooling — live on our editorial policy page.

How we make money

PPCasinos is funded by affiliate commissions. When you click a link to a casino on our site and end up signing up, the casino may pay us a referral fee. That income keeps the site running and pays the team that does the testing.

The model has an obvious conflict of interest, so here is how we manage it:

  • Ratings are set by the methodology, not by which operators pay the highest commission.
  • We review casinos that don’t have an affiliate programme when they are relevant to our readers, and we will say so when that’s the case.
  • We will downgrade or remove a casino from our recommended lists if it stops meeting the methodology, regardless of what it pays.
  • Every page that contains affiliate links carries a visible disclosure. The full statement is on our advertiser disclosure page.

If you’d rather not use our affiliate links, you can search the casino’s name directly — our reviews will still apply.

Markets we cover

We write for English-speaking players in five primary markets. Reviews are tested in the jurisdiction shown so that licence checks, currency, payment limits and bonus terms reflect what you’ll actually see when you sign up.

Market Primary regulator Tested from
United Kingdom UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) UK IP, GBP accounts
Ireland UKGC / MGA (interim) Ireland IP, EUR accounts
Canada Provincial regulators / MGA / Kahnawake Canadian IP, CAD accounts
Australia Offshore (typically MGA, Curaçao) Australian IP, AUD accounts
New Zealand Offshore (typically MGA, Curaçao) NZ IP, NZD accounts

Where a casino operates under different licences in different markets — which is common — we score the version that you, the reader of that page, will actually be signing up to.

Our commitment to responsible gambling

Gambling is fun when it stays in proportion to your budget and the time you can spare. It stops being fun fast when it doesn’t. Every casino we recommend offers deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion, and we score those tools as part of the methodology.

Gambling should be fun and always within your means. If you need support, visit BeGambleAware.org or call the National Gambling Helpline: 0808 8020 133. 18+ only. Terms apply.

For more on the tools available and how to use them, see our responsible gambling page.
